Sammy was born May 2, 2023 with wide-open eyes and deep forehead wrinkles that showed he was paying close attention to the world around him. Sammy was an extraordinarily sweet, smart, and strong baby. We knew he would go on to do great things. Sadly, Sammy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly when he was six weeks old, leaving us with a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We will always cherish the time we had with Sammy and hold onto the love and light he brought into our lives. Now it is our goal to make sure we do great things in Sammy’s honor.
The Sammy Gelband Foundation was created so Sammy’s legacy of sweetness will have a lasting impact. The Foundation is dedicated to bringing hope and support to families during their most vulnerable times.
Our mission is to provide assistance to help alleviate the financial burden families experience while caring for their babies or young children confronted with serious health challenges.
Together we will make a difference in the lives of little ones.
Thank you for allowing us to do good deeds in Sammy’s honor.

Let me start by saying I appreciate everything that the foundation has provided for me and my kids. This is a big help for me. The experience with this foundation is AWESOME… Times are very hard, so I want to thank everybody that's involved for the help providing things we need and being so good to us. I can't express how thankful I am for everything.
